Herbert (Herb) Lawson Jones, of Sonora, Texas, passed away suddenly at his home March 3, 2017.
Herb was born in Junction, Texas to Froggie and Gene Jones on May 28, 1946.
He graduated from Junction High School.
Herb was preceded in death by one son Darrell “Tooter” Jones.
He is survived by his wife Jo Ann Jones, son Duane Jones of Sonora, two granddaughters Kaitlyn and Kera Jones of Del Rio, brother Rusty Jones, wife Carolyine and family of Uvalde.
The family suggests memorials be made to West Texas Boys Ranch or The Old Glory Fund at Sonora Bank.
A memorial service was held at the Presbyterian Church of the Good Shepherd in Sonora, Tuesday, March 7, 2017.
