Demetrio Castro, Sr., age 74, ‘Chuco’ passed away February 23, 2019 surrounded by loved ones.
Demetrio, Sr. was born July 27, 1944.
He served in the U.S. Army from June 1963 until 1965. In 1971, he married Angelica L. Castro, his wife of 48 years.
He was a Sonora Bronco football fan.
Demetrio, Sr., was preceded by his parents and his loving daughter Glinda and he is now reunited with these loved ones.
Survivors include his wife Angelica and three sons, Louis L., Samuel (wife Sonia), Demetrio, Jr. (wife Olivia), a brother Juan (wife Anna), three sisters, Odilia (husband Manuel, Lilia (husband Lionel, Sr.), Wilma (husband Harvey) and numerous nieces and nephews. He is also survived by four granddaughters, Samantha, Savannah, Sabrinah and Gabby, three grandsons, Louis, Jr. and wife Myka, Isaac and Eli and two great grandchildren, Kasen and Kimble.
Memorial services were held Wednesday, February 27, 2019 at St. Ann Catholic Church. Arrangements were made under the direction of Love Funeral Home.
