George M. (Jenky) Thorp, Jr. went to be with his Lord and Savior on January 13, 2018.
George was born August 22, 1947 in Sonora, Tx. and was raised here.
He was admired and liked by many.
He is preceded in death by his wife Nita, and parents George M., Sr. and Faye Thorp.
He is survived by his sister Carla Wilson and husband Robert, sister-in-law Eva Harris and husband Walter, many nieces and nephews.
One of his greatest joys was his great-great nephew Noah, whom he love like a child he never had.
Services will be Saturday, January 20, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at Love Funeral Home Chapel.
He will truly be missed.
