Bobby Joe Granger, age 87, of San Angelo died Sunday, October 21, 2018.
Bob was born February 05, 1931, in San Antonio, to Wesley Granger and Edna Fiebig.
Bob went to Sonora High School and graduated in 1949. He was also a U.S. Veteran of the United States Army. Bob was an avid sports fan and HS football was his passion, especially his hometown Sonora Broncos.
He is preceded in death by his parents Wesley and Edna Granger, wife Mary Beth Amarine Granger, daughter, Brenda Fish and granddaughter, Brittney Granger.
He is survived by his children Bobby Granger of Andrews, TX, Barbara Boyd and husband Steve of Center, TX, Bernice Granger of Montgomery, TX, Benny Granger and wife Shana of Andrews, TX. Bob has 9 grandchildren: Melinda Crouch, Robert Crouch, Chris Boyd, Stephanie Haltom Cody Bush, Cami Williams, Kyle Fish, Brittney Granger and Brady Granger.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 24, 2018, at 1:00 p.m. at Johnson’s Funeral Home. Matt Killough is officiating. Internment will follow at Johnson’s Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens.
