Jose Luis Esquivel

SONORA – Jose Luis Esquivel, went to be with the Lord Saturday December 25,2021. Jose was born to Eusebio Esquivel and Paula Sias on January 24, 1955 in San Carlos, Coahuila Mexico.

Jose has been a resident of Sonora since the age of 14 where he started as a ranch hand and has been there since. He loved the cowboy life. He later married his wife Dora Elia Gutierrez Esquivel on September 21, 1974.

He is survived by his wife Dora Elia Gutierrez Esquivel, son Jose Luis Esquivel Jr and wife Lisandra Esquivel of Plymouth, Indiana, son Eusebio Esquivel and wife Barbra Sifuentez from Eldorado, TX, daughter Rosa Neli Esquivel, daughter Graciela Esquivel Alviso and husband Rafael Alviso Jr of Sonora, TX, and daughter Jessica Acevedo and husband Reynaldo Acevedo Jr of Sonora, TX; 20 grandchildren and five great grandchildren.

Jose Luis is preceded in death by his parents Eusebio Esquivel and Paula Sias and his Son Eloy Esquivel.

Funeral service will be Tuesday December 28, 2021 at 10 a.m. at St.Ann Catholic Church in Sonora, Tx. Burial will follow the service at Sonora Cemetery. Visitation will be held Monday the 27th at Love funeral Home 9am to 9pm.
