Mary Lou Wright was born May 15, 1939 in Leupp, Arizona to Charlie and Marie John. Mary Lou passed away March 9, 2022 in Shannon Medical Center in San Angelo, Texas.
Mary Lou lived a long and happy life with the Love of her life, Don Wright.
Mary Lou married Don Wright on May 28, 1960 in Gallup, New Mexico. They had 4 children and raised their children primarily in Sonora, Texas.
Mary Lou worked in the school cafeteria and always had a smile on her face and was loved by her co-workers and school children she served. Mary went to beauty school in San Angelo and opened “The Bright Spot” in Sonora with two other ladies from Sonora.
Don and Mary Lou moved from Sonora to the DFW metro area where she opened another beauty shop and worked till she retired.
Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband, Don and her children,
Toni and Mario Avila of Sonora, TX
Rickey and Lynn Wright of Bakersfield, CA
Sandie and Lynwood Kindt of Brenham, TX
Ronnie and Shannon Wright of Arlington, TX
Mary Lou is also survived by 10 Grandchildren and 13 Great-grandchildren.
A celebration of Mary Lou’s life will be held in the near future.
