Rebecca “Becky” Chavez Fullagar entered her heavenly home September 11, 2021. She was born June 1, 1949 in Sonora, TX to Leova Tellez Urias and Anita Chavez.

Becky grew up in Sonora and graduated from Sonora High School in 1968. She later moved to Fort Worth, TX where she attended Tarrant County Junior College.

She met the love of her life, Mark T. Fullagar, while cruising around at the local hangout in Fort Worth, 7 Corners. She and Mark married on August 15, 1970 and were been blessed with 51 years of a wonderful marriage.

Becky worked as an executive secretary in insurance and civil service, and also worked at NASA for a period of time. Her most favorite job was being a homemaker in her later years, and she especially loved being ‘Super Nana’ to her grandchildren and great-grandson.

Rebecca’s hobbies included crafting and taking road trips. She especially loved visiting different swap meets and enjoyed shopping for antique items. She also enjoyed electronic gaming and loved trivia and word searches.

Her most favorite game was Wheel of Fortune and she was an avid fan of the show. Above all, Becky adored her family and cherished time spent with them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.

Becky was preceded in passing by her parents, Leova Tellez Urias and Anita Chavez.

Those left to continue her legacy include her loving husband, Mark T. Fullagar; children, Monique T. Fullagar, Todd J. Fullagar and wife LeighAnn, and Justin B. Fullagar; grandchildren, Austin T. Fullagar, Jacob T. Fullagar, Macen G. Fullagar, and Jay Joseph Fullagar; great-grandchild, Bailey I. Fuentes; and sisters, Cynthia Gamez-Medrano and husband Reggie, Loida Kellgren and husband Steve, and Wilma J. Lopez and husband Ram. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews, as well as a host of loving extended family and friends.

Visitation for Rebecca was held 3:00pm to 8:00pm, Tuesday, September 14, 2021 at Resthaven Funeral Home. Services were held at 10:30 a.m., Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at the Chapel at Resthaven. Interment will follow at Resthaven Memory Gardens.
