The National Guard will be conducting COVID-19/Coronavirus testing Wednesday, July 29, 2020, in Sonora.

At the request of Sutton County Judge Steve Smith, the National Guard is returning to Sonora this coming week and offering free testing for COVID-19, also known as the novel Coronavirus.

The number of positive cases for Sutton County has increased  since the first case was reported on June 18. As of Saturday, July 25, the total reported cases of COVID-19 is 58.

The mobile testing by the National Guard is free to the public. There is no pre-registration or reservation required.

The testing is first come, first serve.
