Who Fuel Me Is?
Fuel Me is the only Full Service - “State of the Art” Technology in the Petroleum Industry. This includes not only the procurement of refined products but we handle environmental issues, tank systems of all capacity both above ground and below ground, telemetry/monitoring, fleet/fuel cards, emergency fueling, generator programs, repair & maintenance programs. All under one roof!

The current paper and pencil tracking, luck, significant market swings and opaque supply chains are part of today’s status quo, resulting in large amounts of wasted energy, materials, revenue and time. Accelerated in part by the long-term shutdown of international and regional travel by COVID-19, companies that design and build products (i.e., Fuel Me) have rapidly adopted cloud-based technologies to aggregate, intelligently transform, and contextually present a product and process data from initial transactions and throughout their supply chain process. This ubiquitous stream of data and the intelligent algorithms crunching it will enable companies utilizing the Fuel Me platform to continuously optimize towards higher levels of output/real-time data – reducing overall waste in time and revenue spend up to 30% or more.
Fuel Me is a game-changer in our industry. The customer has never had the opportunity to acquire “Real-Time” data in their business at a moment’s notice. Now the industry, utilizing Fuel Me, can make decisions that will provide immediate impact to their bottom line.

Currently, they must wait weeks and months to understand what is occurring as fuel prices continue to fluctuate impacting their P&L, plus not having the ability to close out months end reporting. Basically, they are flying blind until this data is acquired. The Fuel Me platform is far reaching into their company from the time the fuel is put into their vehicle or tanks until the CFO reviews the end of the month or quarterly closing statements.

City of Sonora Meets Fuel Me
Thomas Hoover, Chief Revenue Officer with Fuel Me was at a TML Conference Show (Texas Municipal League) back in 2020 where he met Sonora City Manager Arturo Fuentes, and discussed multiple areas of the petroleum world, especially in regards to aviation applications and the potential for grant monies from the State/Federal Government. After some detailed discussion Fuentes went on his way with his staff.
About a year later, Fuentes reached out to Hoover and asked him to come to Sonora and take a look at his airport fueling facility.
Upon my review, we discovered numerous opportunities for failure of his current system.

Hoover took many notes and pictures and suggested a city council meeting. After several interactive calls with Fuentes prior to the meeting, Fuel Me crafted a complete skid tank aviation platform with the assistance of JF Petroleum/Bob Bissen. He was the main engineer for the project and was highly familiar with the FAA requirements for the supply of AVGAS and Jet A to the public, private and commercial sectors of the industry.
Bissen assured that the fuel tanks are double walled and have sensors for leak detection. The tanks are internally lined to prevent any fuel contamination issues.

The fuel is filtered going into the tanks and also filtered when dispensing into any aircraft. The fleet system takes bank cards for unattended fueling and all the equipment used is aircraft fueling certified.

After the council meeting in February of 2021, Fuel Me was awarded the opportunity to not only provide the complete aviation fueling system but Fuel Me was able to secure the financing on behalf of the City of Sonora through Sonora Bank as well as another organization that finances equipment purchases for various entities, i.e. Govt, private & Public sectors.
