Galvan made some great plays at short, Jay Morales made a heck of a catch at 1st base on a line drive in the bottom of the 7th, and Jacob Martinez did a great job on the mound in relief of Brady.
Everyone had a role in the victory, Elias Perez did his job on the bases as a courtesy runner. Jackson Carroll came in and ran the bases well also!” Vyvlecka was on the mound for Sonora. The right hander surrendered five runs on seven hits over three innings, striking out two and walking zero.
Benedict toed the rubber for Stanton. The hurler went four and a third innings, allowing five runs on eight hits and striking out five. Carson threw two and two-thirds innings in relief.

“I couldn’t be more proud than I am for a team than this one in all my years of Coaching Baseball! These guys are battle tested and always find a way to get the job done. You know, we had to make two trips to Stanton in back to back days. I was really worried on how we would respond. The guys handled it very well. For that, they are awarded a spot in the Playoffs! We are not just satisfied with getting in the Dance, we want to advance!”
