Sutton County 4-H exhibitors are preparing for the county livestock show which is scheduled for this Friday, January 8, 2021.

The arrival and weigh-in for Friday’s stock show will take place on Thursday, January 7th from 3 to 6 p.m. at the 4-H Barns.

The show will begin at 8:00 a.m. on Friday, January 8th. Show order will be Market Lambs, Meat Goats, Angora Goats, and Swine.

The extension office and livestock committee members are working to stream the show via Facebook Live.

Restrictions are in place to comply with COVID-19 regulations. There are several changes to this year’s show including:

• A face mask will be required for participation or attendance.

• There will not be a Special Edition Show for special needs students this year.

• The 4-H photography projects will not be displayed during the show. It will, however, be done at a later time (this prepares them for competition at the San Angelo Stock show as well as district competition).

• There will not be a PeeWee Show for those in 1st and 2nd grades.

• The concession stand will be limited to drinks and a few morning pastries.

• There will not be an Awards Luncheon, awards will be presented at the conclusion of each division.
