Oleta Atwood Duckworth, age 89, of Sonora, passed away on July 18, 2018, at her residence.
Oleta was born on October 10, 1928, in Paint Rock, TX, to Harvey and Nell Atwood.
Oleta married Kenneth L. Duckworth on November 4, 1950, in Eden, TX and they were married for 40 years.
Oleta was a homemaker and lived in Sonora for 65 years.
She was proceeded in death by her husband, Kenneth, parents, Harvey and Nell and her brother Winfred Atwood.
Survivors include her daughters, Terry Nell Duckworth and Lynn Barber and husband Charles, all of Sonora and one grandson, Cody Layne Barber of College Station, TX.
Graveside services were held Monday, July 23, 2018 in Eden Cemetery.
