City Council Considers Swimming Pool Fee Hike, Ports-to-Plains Update

Sonora City Council members heard from Rachel Duran during a special meeting on Wednesday, April 30, 2025, concerning proposed prices at the local swimming pool. They also heard an update regarding the Ports-to-Plains Corridor. Duran noted that the rising cost of staffing and maintaining the swimming pool, as well as higher utility costs, mean that a new pricing structure is required.
