It is with a heavy heart that we announce the news of Michael Wayne Dillard's passing on January 25th, 2024, at the age of 69.
Born on May 25, 1954, in Lubbock, Texas, Mike was the beloved son of Byerl & Mona Dillard, and loyal brother to Monte and Suzy.
Mike was a loving and devout husband to Janey for 47 years, and a dedicated father to his sons, Chance and Dustin.
Throughout his life, Mike exemplified love, kindness, and commitment to his family, community, and friends.
A dedicated and passionate businessman in dirt construction for multiple decades, Mike's professional endeavors were a true reflection of his tenacity and work ethic, his experience and reputation have left an enduring mark on the industry.
His impact was profound, leaving lasting impressions on everyone fortunate enough to know him.
Mike is preceded in death by his mother and father.
He is survived by his loving wife Janey; son Dustin [Jeremy]; son Chance [Dani] and grandchildren Daylin, Castyn, Wayden; brother Monte [Sam]; sister Suzy [Randy]; nephew Patton [Lauren] and daughter Riley.
A service to celebrate Mike's remarkable life will be held on Monday, at 10 a.m., January 29th, 2024, at First Baptist Church of Sonora. Your presence and support during this time are deeply appreciated.
