Shortly after 7 a.m. on Thursday, January 25, 2024, a high-stakes pursuit unfolded in dense fog on Interstate 10, initiated by the Sutton County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff DuWayne Castro provided details of the chase, which began near the 393 mile marker on the interstate.
